Simone Truong *1983 in Solothurn

is a Swiss born Chinese-Vietnamese Choreographer, performer, dancer and curator. Since her Bachelor in choreography from the ArtEZ HKA in Arnhem (NL) in 2007, Simone Truong has been based in Zurich, where her work is regularly co-produced by the Gessnerallee. Her pieces have been shown in several festivals in and outside of Switzerland. Between 2008 and 2010 she worked together with her sister Monika Truong and Elaine Ho on the long term project «Overseas», which has been developed together with Chinese artists and shown in Beijing and Zurich. Between 2012 and 2014 Truong worked on a series of two performances and one book around the idea of continuous questioning in remake. (To) Come and See is her last project. As a performer, she has worked with Jérôme Bel, Cie Branstätter/Gerbes, Philippe Saire and Liquid Loft/Chris Harring. Furthermore, Truong works as an assistant for Jérôme Bel in the pieces Disabled Theater and Gala. Truong has received the danceWEB scholarship and the Premio award in 2008. She has also received the recognition prize of the canton of Solothurn in 2010 and from the city of Zurich in 2011. Since December 2014, Truong is the artistic director of the festival «TanzPlan Ost».

Eilit Marom *1986 in Haifa

is an Israeli Dance artist based both in Amsterdam and Haifa. She studied dance at The Danceworkshop in Kibbutz Gaaton and in 2010 graduated from Artez HKA an Arnhem, Netherlands. Recipient of «dance in community» grant from Israel Ministry of Culture. She danced amongst others with Simone Truong, Amos Ben-Tal, Kalpana Raghuraman, Jack Gallagher and Jerome Bel. As a choreographer she works in collaboration with visual artist Adam Nillissen for theaters, exhibitions and public spaces. They research nonverbal communication in their project A state of statements, created More then one, about being an artist duo by storytelling and presented an exhibition at Unfair Amsterdam 2016. In 2016 Eilit, together with the choreographers Anna Massoni, Elpida Orfanidou, Adina Secretan and Simone Truong, premiered the work (To) Come and See in Gessnerallee Zurich and has been touring ever since. In Haifa, she is associated artist at Haifa Theater, created Ever Wonder an interactive children performance and Blender a platform for contemporary performances. In addition, Eilit is certified to teach Anouk van Dijk’s movement system Countertechnique and has been teaching internationally since 2012.

Anna Massoni *1985 in Paris

is a French freelance performer and choreographer based in Paris. She was trained in contemporary dance at the National Conservatory of Lyon (CNSMD). In 2007, she was a recipient of the danceWEB scholarship and then worked with Johanne Saunier in Brussels, and with Yuval Pick in Lyon. From 2011 to 2014, she joined the National Choreographic Center of Rillieux-la-Pape under the direction of Yuval Pick. Within this frame she participated in various creations and several pedagogical activities. She currently works with Noé Soulier in Paris, Maud Blandel in Lausanne, and also carries out her own choreographic work in collaboration with other artists, such as Simone Truong, Eilit Marom, Elpida Orfanidou and Adina Secretan ((To) Come and See, 2015), Vincent Weber (La Réserve, 2015) and Vania Vaneau (Ornement, 2016). At the same time, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, co-created Lieues, a space for artistic research in Lyon, and rodéo, a multidisciplinary magazine with other artists. She also develops a work of graphic design for Lieues and, in collaboration with Sandra Pasini, for rodéo and the publishing house Trente-trois morceaux.

Elpida Orfanidou *1981 in Berlin

is a Greek choreographer and performer, based in Berlin and Athens. Elpida studied Dance first in Athens at the Grigoriadou Professional Dance School in parallel to her Piano Degree and Pharmacy Degree (University of Athens). She continued her dance studies in Arnhem (BA Choreography / ArtEZ ), Montpellier (ex.e.r.ce 2007, direction Mathilde Monnier & Xavier Le Roy) and London (MA Performance Practice and Research). For her studies abroad she received the Greek State Scholarship. In 2009 she received the DanceWeb scholarship. She creates works alone or in collaboration with other artists like Hermann Heisig for the choreographic duet UNITED STATES and Juan Perno for the film performance ELPID’ARC. Her works have been presented in different venues and festivals in Europe. As a performer Elpida has worked a.o. with Hermann Heisig, Gui Garrido, Pieter Ampe, Meg Stuart, Tim Etchells, Vlatka Horvat. As an artistic collaborator she worked with Ioannis Mandafounis & May Zarhy for PAUSING. Currently she is working on the interdisciplinary project PHARMACIST or BALLOONIST, a dance & herbs lab, which will premiere in Berlin in December 2017.

Adina Secretan *1980 in Geneva

is born in 1980 in Switzerland. She studied classical dance, contemporary dance and acting at the Conservatory of Geneva, and then lived one year in Managua, Nicaragua, where she collaborated to several theatrical projects. Back to Switzerland and parallel to getting a master’s degree in philosophy and modern literature she continued her studies in contemporary dance with the Collectif du Marchepied in Lausanne. Since 2008 she has been working in Switzerland and abroad as choreographer, theater director, assistant, dramaturge, and performer. She worked also as a researcher and teacher at the HETSR (University of Theatre - French speaking part of Switzerland), and achieved a master project in directing, about human relations to space, and the actual fear of demographic expansion. She’s developing a long term research, about human relations to space, habitat, and urban space politics. Since 2016, she’s the associated artist of the festival far° (Switzerland).
